I tried to keep this "must-have" list as short as possible but it amazes me how much a single pair of shoes can take an entire outfit from casual to dressy or somewhere in between. I'm all for comfort 99, if not 100, percent of the time and, fortunately, you do not have to sacrifice style for comfort. I can certainly appreciate a good ol' pair of tan over-the-knee boots and some cute black heel booties because I absolutely love what they can do for any outfit, but I didn't include them here because I honestly can't remember the time I wore either. Let's get rollin' on this list, shall we?

BOOTS
We'll start off with boots because, well, they've been stuck in our closets all summer, so why not?
CHELSEA BOOTS
So, apparently this style of boot is called the Chelsea boot and not just by this particular brand. If you Google "Chelsea boots" this style comes up from various brands. (Maybe I'm the only one that didn't know that was an actual style of boots vs just what a brand names them?) Regardless, I have been crushhhing on these since I saw them in the Nordstrom sale. So much so that I actually got them in black and white. Here are a few ways I styled them:
COMBAT BOOTS
One of the pictures below is of the black Chelsea boots, but I feel they are just different enough that a pair of combat boots is also necessary. (Also, I technically had the combat boots first, but I really do love them!) Either way, you honestly could wear either with any of the outfits.
TAN BOOTS
I'm not exactly sure what this next style is called (maybe still a Chelsea boot?), but I'm obsessed with them!
And I couldn't talk about tan boots without mentioning these babies, because they are probably my most worn pair of boots. They're also probably the dressiest pair I have on the list, but I also love them with some 90's jeans and an oversized tshirt for a more casual look.
Honestly, this is probably my favorite outfit ever and I wear these three pieces SO much!
FLATS
A good pair or two of flats (because ya gotta have a light and a dark, right?) are obviously going to be on the list. I love that flats can dress up any outfit, but still keep it comfortable. Have you caught on yet that I'm all about comfort!?
SNEAKERS
Speaking of comfort, sneakers are definitely the category of shoes that I have and wear the most. Black, white or dirty, (Yes, dirty. See below.) I love them all!
I think we can all agree here that the days of "You can't wear white after Labor Day!" are a thing of the past, no? Because, if that's still the case, I'm about to break a few rules here. Below are a few ways you can totally rock white denim, as we head into cooler weather (finally).
