Today we got to redeem ourselves as parents after the forgotten birthday treat fiasco that happened last Friday. We took cupcakes to Aurora's school and had lunch with her, with little brother in tow. She was so excited to see us and show Holden off to her friends. I don't have any pictures from this, but I really felt the need to post it so when Aurora gets older and tries to tell us we're crappy parents, I can be all, "Actually, on Tuesday, May 30th, 2017, we were damn good parents!... You're grounded!" :)
Side note: Jose goes back to work tomorrow and I might just be completely dreading it. He's been off since Holden was born, so we've been able to tag-team everything. Now I'll be solo. Wish me luck!
